DM81xx Designs
Digital video solutions for a wide variety of applications based on the highly-integrated, TI DaVinci DM81xx family of media processors.
OVERVIEW
Mistral has extensive expertise in providing DM81xx designs. Mistral in collaboration with TI, has developed the TMDXEVM8148, an easy-to-use development platform for product developers to build their next generation HD Video applications. The EVM was one of the finalists at the UBM ACE Awards 2012. Mistral has also collaborated with several leading companies on projects based on TI’s DM81xx platform to provide custom design services. Mistral’s DM81xx based designs enable developers working on DM814x/DM816x DaVinci™ digital media processors (DM8148, DM8168, DM8147, DM8146) and AM387x Sitara™ ARM MPUs (AM3874, AM3872, AM3871) build digital multimedia solutions for surveillance, digital multimedia, industrial automation and human machine interfaces (HMIs) applications.
The DM81xx (DM814x and DM816x) series of Digital Media Processors from Texas Instruments are a highly-integrated, programmable platform that leverages TI’s DaVinci™ Processor technology to meet the processing needs of applications such as HD Video Conferencing, Video Surveillance DVRs, IP Netcam, Digital Signage, Media Players/Adapters, Mobile Medical Imaging, Network Projectors, and Home Audio/Video Equipment and more.
