The WL1271 Daughter Card for OMAP3 EVM from Mistral is a WLAN (IEEE802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth® 2.1+EDR single-chip (combo) low power add-on card, based on the LS Research module with Texas Instruments WL1271 device bundled with a comprehensive software package for Linux 2.6. WL1271 is part of TI’s WiLink™ 6.0 product family. The WL1271 Daughter Card is only compatible with the Rev. G of the OMAP3 EVM (TMDSEVM3530).

The software package includes a WLAN driver, which provides mobile WLAN connectivity solution for home/SOHO and public environments, and a Bluetooth® driver integrated to Linux BlueZ (BT Stack) which supports A2DP, HFP, HSP, OPP and FTP profiles.
