Radar Target Simulators form an essential requirement in the defense industry for electronic countermeasure and performance evaluation of
radars.The Radar Target Simulator (RTS-RF) from Mistral is capable of simulating target echo in the various radar bands.
 The Mistral RTS-RF system consists of a front-end RTS system with, a DRFM module housed in an Industrial PC.The RTS-RF system consists of a down and up converter operating in the L band. The Radar signals are received from a radar transmitter and are
echoed back. The signals are stored and processed by the DRFM; and, further controlled to produce various target scenarios:
- Simulation of target size
- Simulation of moving target speed and direction
- Simulation of distance; varying from 150 m to 600 kms
